Mt. Diablo School District requires each school site to maintain a comprehensive school safety plan that is reviewed and revised by the site and approved by the Board of Education annually.

The Comprehensive School Safety Plan shall be used to provide details regarding each school’s strategies, programs and procedures to support a safe school environment. The California Education Code sections 32280-32289 outline the requirements of all schools operating any kindergarten and any grades 1 to 12, inclusive, to write and develop a school safety plan relevant to the needs and resources of that particular school.
